The Family Activities Committee generously helped to fund a workshop that will be held at Berks Jr. Camp on Saturday, May 19. This workshop is from Penn State (University Park). We will be joined by Amber from PSU and she will share many fascinating insect facts and live BUGS! Thanks so much FAC for the generous donation to help further educate the juniors at camp. Any member please feel free to come and see the workshop presentation on May 19 at Camp Swatara from 10:15am—11:50. There will be three rotations of workshops during that time.

Needed

We could use a few adult helpers on Sunday morning (5/20) to help prepare and distribute breakfast to the campers. Adult helpers should arrive at camp by 8am. Please call Heather if interested in helping. Heather’s phone number 610.756.6001.

Text Box: Everyone County Granger… Is always invited to visit the county camp for any period of time during our camp weekend, May 18-20. Please contact Heather to find out scheduled events. The Royalty Coronation and Program begin Sunday at 1:30pm

Text Box: Hoss’s The county Juniors will again be holding a Hoss’s day on June 12. Come out and eat at Hoss’s (in Leesport) on that day and when you present a coupon, the juniors will receive 20% of your bill! Coupons will be available at county camp and at the June quarterly meeting!

Text Box: Directions to Camp Swatara Whether traveling East or West on I78, get off at Exit #10 (Frystown). Go North for 2 miles on Rte. 645. The camp entrance will be on your right. Camp Swatara has multiple sites and we will be staying at the East Lodge.
