Why:      Fun and Fellowship

 

 

Please bring a game of your liking if you are not playing Haus.  Prizes will be awarded.

 

Refreshments will be available.

… Virginville Grange will serve breakfast at Kutztown Fair (August 13-18) from 7 a.m. till 10:30 a.m.

 

… Virginville Grange remodeled the original grange hall with the help of 38 volunteers

 

...Martha Bollinger and Jon Sattazahn, PA State Youth Ambassadors, traveled to Maryland to attend the Eastern Regional Youth Conference!

 

...Several Berks County Youth members were participants at Young Adults/Young Married weekend in State College, PA!

 

...The Legislative Banquet was served by Berks County Youth!

RELAY FOR LIFE

The Relay for Life Team will be walking May 18-19.  If you are not a member of the team and would like to financially support us, we are still accepting donations.  Contact a team member or myself.

 

I would like to Thank the Family Activities for stepping up to the plate to sponsor the Survivor Reception on opening night at the Relay. Each survivor will have their dinner paid for and they will also receive a t-shirt. We have a number of Grangers that are survivors, so we are also helping to show them our support. 

 

I wish to thank Pomona Grange for matching our team pledges up to $1000.00. Our event goal this year is $135,000.00 and a total of 40 teams.

 

Anyone who would like to come out and show your support is welcome.  You do not have to be on a team. Opening ceremonies and the Lumineria service are very moving! If you have never been to one or been a participant you sure are missing a special event. Thank you for all your support and a special thanks to all my faithful team members.

 

For the June Pomona, we will be helping the Animal Rescue.  So please bring donations of dog food or cat food and anything else a pet may be in need of.
