CONSIGNMENT SALE

By Ken Kerschner

HELP!

What would you like to do at this year’s Grange auction?  Help is needed pre-sale, during the sale, and post sale.  Perhaps you believe we have all the help we need...NOT TRUE, we need YOU!

Coordinating volunteers is vital to the success of the auction; and, for that, we need to hear from YOU.  If you aren’t able to complete the sign up sheets at your meeting, please email me at kewecaco@dejazzd.com to let me know you are interested.  A plan and a schedule will be developed from the responses received.  This is your chance to choose your task!  Here is a partial list of jobs where we are short of help:  checking in items on Thursday/Friday, sign up buyers Saturday morning, office help, clerks, and being a runner.

August 25th is coming fast.  So, don’t delay, sign up today!

P.S.  Presale work night date of Monday, July 23

will be at BERNVILLE GRANGE (air-

conditioned!)

LECTURER’S NEWS

By Faye Heckman

Family Festival is coming up—July 19 through 22.  Registration forms can be found in the Advocate.  Join us for a great weekend!

We’re going “buggy” for the June Pomona meeting.  I’m picking up on the Junior’s camp theme and will do a program relating to bugs.  The Juniors will also present a slideshow of camp highlights.

Don’t forget to work on your entries for the Lecturer’s contest.  As the weather gets warmer, sit under a shade tree and write a story or poem for the “Pen In Hand” contest or draw a picture for the art contest.  Get creative!  You might have talents you never realized you had!
